Puneet is a Managing Director and Insurance Industry Leader for Accenture’s Strategy and Consulting practice in Canada, grateful to lead a $100M+ CAD portfolio and multi-disciplinary team rooted in deep industry, business strategy and technology skills.

Puneet has been published across various Canadian media outlets on his perspective on macro issues such as climate resiliency, AI in insurance and insurance’s role in managing Canada’s mental health crisis. Puneet sits on the board of IICF Canada focused on bringing the insurance community across Canada together to work towards eliminating child hunger in Canada and the communities we protect

Puneet is based out of Toronto, Canada and is passionate on the purpose the insurance sector has in driving sustainable social impact and wellbeing for Canadians, and the power technology can play in making the insurance ecosystem more human. The greatest drive for Puneet in his career comes through supporting and promoting a learning environment for next-generation talent in strategy/management consulting and his clients that builds on developing future leaders and change makers that lead with empathy, drive inclusive behaviors, and challenge the status quo through technology-led solutions created by diverse capability and perspective.

Puneet has 17 years of experience in leading large-scale growth and operational transformations in Canada, Switzerland, and the United States in the insurance and financial services sector. He brings extensive experience working as a C-suite and transformation advisor for Property and Casualty, Health, Life and Workers Comp insurance carriers in corporate and functional growth, customer experience, product, and distribution strategy, business and technology architecture design and implementation and digital enablement. Prior to joining Accenture, Puneet was a partner and leader for the Canadian insurance strategy and business consulting practice and global mutual insurance network at EY, and previously worked with Deloitte in both the Toronto and Zurich, Switzerland offices. Puneet is a frequent speaker at industry events in North America and globally, including CHLIA, LIMRA/LOMA, ICMIF and THIA.
