Biography

Lori Casselman is the Founder & CEO of June Health. Lori is a seasoned healthcare executive, with a career spanning over 20 years at the intersection between corporate health strategy, health insurance & emerging health technologies. She has held executive leadership positions at Sun Life Financial, Telus Health, League, Lifespeak and Wello; as well as consulting with many North American digital health startups and global businesses.

Lori is a widely recognized business ‘builder’, health strategy expert and industry innovator. She began her career as a strategy consultant within a boutique health benefits brokerage, quickly developing a unique understanding of the landscape of both private and publicly funded insurance, employee health benefits, and North American healthcare industry service & distribution models. Lori has extensive P&L experience and has been instrumental in the commercial activities of each business she has joined or supported in some capacity. Most recently, she has combined her professional experience & personal passion with a focus on closing the health equity gap – and building June Health. June is modernizing women’s health, leveraging technology to provide timely access to quality care for women.

Her educational background includes Hons. BA, Hons. BSc. and Masters of Science degrees from The University of Western Ontario. In addition she has completed multifaceted executive business programs at both Ivey and Stanford Business Schools. Lori resides with a prestigious group who have been recognized as “Canada’s Top Thought Leaders” through the Benefits Canada Top Performers program and has been an invited speaker at over 100+ industry conferences and events globally.

Committed to community building & supporting women in business, Lori is active in her philanthropic work, and has been on the boards of several impactful organizations, including the Children’s Aid Foundation, Tech for Sick Kids and Move the Dial.
