Biography
Fraser Wiswell is Head of Manulife Group Retirement at Manulife Wealth & Asset Management, where he leads the strategy, growth, and performance of the firm’s retirement business across Canada. He is accountable for delivering strong outcomes for plan sponsors, advisors, and nearly 2 million Canadians saving for and transitioning into retirement.
Fraser brings more than 15 years of experience across retirement, wealth, and group benefits. In his previous role as Head of Global Participant Outcomes, he led the development of strategies to help millions of plan participants worldwide save, invest, and achieve better financial outcomes.
Since joining Manulife in 2010, Fraser has held senior leadership roles spanning Retail Wealth, Group Benefits, and Group Retirement, including Head of Product, Strategy & Transformation for Canadian Retirement.
He is known for his client-focused leadership, disciplined execution, and ability to translate insight into practical strategies that improve engagement, advice utilization, and retirement readiness.
Fraser holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University, a Bachelor of Business & Entrepreneurship from Mount Royal University, and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
