As Chief Digital, Data & Strategy Officer for RBC Insurance, Vik is known for championing progressive and innovative experiences for clients and advisors at every stage in their insurance journey. His focus is to build confidence, deepen trust and deliver real value to the people RBC Insurance serves.

Grounded in that client-first approach, Vik drives overall insurance business strategy to create shareholder value and position RBCI for outsized growth. A central pillar of this strategy is leading RBCI’s AI transformation, applying AI and data technologies to fundamentally reimagine how insurance is delivered, accelerate innovation and unlock new opportunities for the business.

Vik joined RBC in 2019, leading groundbreaking work as interim CEO of Ownr, CEO of Dr.Bill and Chief Operating Officer for RBCx Ventures. Prior to RBC, he founded a health technology startup, led a portfolio of digital businesses for Torstar and built a successful technology consulting practice. Vik is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).

When Vik is not imagining and building the future of RBC Insurance, he can be found chasing his two daughters or lifting heavy weights at the gym.
