Emile is focused on helping Swiss Re’s clients make the world resilient and a better place through insurance whilst helping clients earn a fair return on their risk capital by delivering smarter solutions. A dedicated, creative, and natural leader, Emile has been in the reinsurance business since 1993, working in mostly new business activities, including account management, new product development, pricing, and leading teams focused on the same. Emile inspires his team to strive to be their personal best and to improve continuously through challenging work, cross functional teamwork, and acquiring and applying new technical and leadership skills. A recurring current area of interest relates to the preventative and healing power effects of leading edge nutrition science knowledge and how insurance and technology can leverage such knowledge to motivate people to live longer, and healthier lives, whilst increasing engagement with insurers.
